Paul Smith is an associate with Newman & Broomand, where his practice focuses on handling employer-defense litigation. Prior to joining Newman & Broomand, Mr. Smith worked for a boutique employment firm in Sacramento where he advised employers on all matters of California employment law, and performed workplace investigations into allegations of harassment, discrimination, and retaliation. Mr. Smith also has experience working with the office of general counsel for one of Sacramento’s largest private employers on various employment, contract, and compliance matters.
